Google AdSense and Display Advertising
We use Google AdSense to display advertisements on searchans.com. Google AdSense uses the DoubleClick DART cookie to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You may opt out of the use of the DART cookie by visiting adssettings.google.com.
For users in the European Economic Area and United Kingdom, the Google entity acting as data controller for advertising services is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google AFS / RSOC Search Advertising
searchans.com may display search-based advertisements served through Google AdSense for Search (AFS) and Related Search on Content (RSOC) technology. These ads are delivered through Google’s Search Partner Network and may also be served via feed providers including Sedo/TMP, Predicto, MidoWeb, and System1.
How AFS/RSOC works: (1) contextual signals from the page are used to generate relevant search ad results; (2) clicking an ad result may initiate a search query; (3) relevant advertiser ads are returned and displayed; (4) we may receive compensation when users interact with these results.
Legal basis: For EEA/UK/Switzerland users — Consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). For other users — Legitimate Interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).
We comply with Google’s Related Advertising Features (RAF) Policy (effective August 25, 2025).
Video Advertising
searchans.com may display video advertisements including outstream video ads (displayed within content, outside video players), interstitial video ads (full-screen between content), and in-stream video ads (within video content). Video advertising technology is delivered in part via the Google IMA (Interactive Media Ads) SDK.
Video ad vendors are registered on the IAB Global Vendor List (GVL). For EEA/UK/Switzerland users, consent is required under IAB TCF v2.3 Purposes 2, 7 and Special Purpose 2 before personalised video ads are served.
Native Advertising and Content Recommendations
We may display native advertising and content recommendation widgets on searchans.com. These units are clearly labelled as “Sponsored” or “Recommended” and may be served by providers such as Taboola, Outbrain, Revcontent, or similar networks.
For EEA/UK/Switzerland users, these vendors are listed in our CMP under the IAB Global Vendor List and require consent before personalised content recommendations are shown.
Who We Share Your Information With
We do not sell your personal information. Children’s Privacy
searchans.com is not directed at children under the age of 13 (US — COPPA) or under the age of 16 (EEA/UK — GDPR Art. 8). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Where advertising is served, we use the TFUA (Tag For Users in Areas of restricted data processing) parameter where applicable to restrict personalised advertising to children. International Data Transfers
